Why is kindness important?

Kindness is important because without it the world would be a whole lot worse than it is now. Kindness is the reason there isn't more murders, rapes, robberys, etc., kindness is the reason everyone made such a big deal about the school shooting that just happened. Without kindness there wouldn't be any good families and theoretically the world could end because of that.

This means that if you do good things for people you will feel better. Other people will see you as a better person too and they will like and respect you more, and your life will just be all around happier than if you don't do nice little things to people.

What did you think of Mice and Men?

I really liked the book, I liked the dialogue the most because my family is from West Virginia and that's exactly how it is. The ending did surprise me, but I kind of figured something was going to happen to Lennie because of the way the beginning of the book started. I did not expect George to be the one to kill him though and that was a little upsetting for probably anyone. My favorite character was definatly Lennie because he was hilarious throughout the book and he kept it entertaining.  

What did you think of the research process?

I liked being able to learn more about my topic, but I wish I picked something else because "School Shootings" was such a general topic it was hard to narrow it down to get the info I need. I disliked writing all of the stuff because I had to do it left handed and it is taking me longer than it should. Other than that it was okay and I really don't think you should change anything for next year so the new freshmen go through the same amount of pain as we did.
